We the family of the late Patsy McCloskey would like to express our sincere thanks to all who attended the wake, sent flowers, mass cards and attended his funeral.
To the staff of Kingfisher at Cornfield Care Centre our heartfelt thanks for all for the care given to our father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, father-in-law and friend.
Our thanks to Fr James McGrory for the beautiful Requiem Mass and homily.
We would like to thank Erin McReynolds, and acknowledge our own Niamh and Kevin, for the beautiful music and singing in the Chapel and at the Graveside.
To WJ O’Brien funeral directors for their compassion, care and professional manner in carrying out the funeral arrangements.
Our heartfelt thanks to all who assisted during the wake, it is impossible to thank everyone individually but please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
For gifts of soup and sandwiches our thanks to all who contributed including The Magnet Bar, The Sandwich Company, The Ebrington Bakery and The Bishops Gate Hotel. Thank you to St Mary’s Parish Centre and Cassidy’s Cafe for their impressive tea and sandwiches after the funeral.
Patsy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Ardmore on Sunday 27th October at 10 am. Everyone welcome.

McCLOSKEY Patsy, 25th September 2024 peacefully at Cornfield Care Centre, Limavady, (formerly of Ardmore)

Beloved husband of Betty, loving father of Sean, Eilish, Patrick, Kevin, Conor, Roisin, Finvola and Fergal, father-in-law of Helen, Ursula, Bridgeen, Michael and Bizrat, a much loved grandfather, great-grandfather and dear brother of Mavis and the late Seamus and Brian.

His remains will be reposing in his son’s home, 6 Ardan Mews, Culmore, from 3 pm on Thursday. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.15 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
