McCOLGAN Uel (Samuel) R.I.P. June 1, 2025 passed away peacefully in hospital with his loving family by his side, following a sudden illness. (Late of Longlands Court, Newtownabbey). Beloved husband of the late Marie. Much loved dad of Eamon and Tracy and the late Daniel. Father-in-law to Breda and Leon. Proud grandad of Bethany, Caolán and Aerynn.

A Requiem Mass for the life of Uel will be held in Church of St Mary, Star of the Sea, 305 Shore Road, Whitehouse, Newtownabbey on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 11.00am, followed by a committal in Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium. Uel will be resting at home from Sunday June 8th for those wishing to pay their respects. Flowers welcome, or donations in lieu to a charity of your choosing.

God called your name so softly that only you could hear, and no-one heard the footsteps of the angels drawing near. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
