McCONE (née Lambe) Mary (Whitecross) September 8, 2026, passed away (peacefully) at home, in the care of her loving family. Mary, beloved wife of the late James (Hughes), much-loved mother of Maria and Claire, daughter of the late Barney and Mary Lambe, dear sister of Paul, Helen (McAleavey), Colette, Anne (Grimes) and John, and the late Betty McElroy.

Mary’s remains will repose at her home, 9 Ardmore Park, Whitecross, from Tuesday, September 8, 5 pm- 10 pm, and Wednesday 9 September, 12 noon-10 pm. House private on the morning of the funeral. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday 10 September at 11.30 am at the Church of St Teresa, Tullyherron. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, the entire Lambe and McCone families, and all Mary’s friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
