McCONNON Jim (Newry) July 4, 2026, (peacefully) at Daisy Hill Hospital, surrounded by his devoted family. May he rest in peace. Jim, beloved husband of the late Pauline and much-loved father of Paul (Marion), Jim (Jacinta), Andrea (Jim), Nicola (Andrew), Lydia (Damien), Neil (Marion), Gemma (Alastair). Cherished grandfather of Annabel, Aaron, Ciara, Jack, Emily, Etaoin, Eabha, Lauren, Sophie, Katie, Naimh, Luke, Isla, Ali, Oisin. Predeceased by his parents, Barney and Teresa McConnon, and his late brothers and sisters, Jackie, Brian, Frank, Gretta, Teasie, Pauline, and babies Kathleen and Angela. RIP

Jim will be reposing at his home 25 Keggal Road, from 12 noon until 10 pm on Sunday July 5, 2026. Funeral leaving the house on Monday July 6, at 11 am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St. Malachy’s Church, Carrickcruppen. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private the morning of the funeral.

Jim will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and the entire family circle and friends. “Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.”
