McCOURT Gerard (Gerry) Passed away peacefully 26th June 2026 at The Mater Hospital.

Beloved husband of Geraldine, much loved father of Kevin, Stephen and Gerard, cherished grandfather of Nicole, Ashlin, Daniella, Josh, Sofia, Abbie and Ethan, adored father-in-law of Gina, Guida and Stacey. He will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and friends.

Gerry is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 12 Portland Avenue, Newtownabbey, BT36 4ZL, from Tuesday 30th June. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to call between the hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 2nd July, at 11.00am in St Bernard’s Church, Newtownabbey followed by cremation at Antrim & Newtownabbey Crematorium at 1.00pm.
