Dermot McCROSSAN
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends and colleagues who offered their unwavering support these past weeks and months as we mourned the passing of our beloved Dermot Colm McCrossan.
To everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass cards and wreaths, messages and posts, provided and served food during the wake, your support has been a great source of comfort and we are truly grateful to you all.
Special thanks to all the amazing staff at the Foyle Hospice who went over and beyond their duties every day and gave us the opportunity to give Dermot a dignified and peaceful passing. A special word of thanks to Father Noel McDermott, Dermot’s dear friend, and to Father Micheál McGavigan for their support throughout Dermot’s illness. We are thankful to all the priests who offered their prayers during the wake and to Fabienne for her beautiful music during the service. Thank you to Pat Harley Funeral Directors who gave us a professional and respectful send off for Dermot.
Dermot devoted his entire life to his wife- Deirdre, his children- Michael, Tomás and Dermot, their partners- Eimear, Aimee and Muireann, and his grandchildren- Oisín, Éabha, Níadh and Diarmaid who were everything to him. Dermot loved his family circle and would walk to the ends of the earth for them. Dermot and Deirdre loved nothing more than spending time together with their family circle and creating precious memories. We will proudly remember our husband, father and grandfather with the warmest of memories.
Síocháin inár gcroíthe, síocháin sa bhaile linn.
