Date of Death: Monday 1st January 2024 Town: Feeny
Date of Death: Monday 1st January 2024

We the family of the late Geordie McCullagh (RIP) wish to express our sincere heartfelt thanks for all the support, kindness, love and sympathy we received during the recent bereavement of our beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Our heartfelt thanks to Aiden, the first responder, all the paramedics and the emergency services. A special expression of gratitude is reserved for our extended family and friends, whose unwavering support and assistance in welcoming Geordie back into his home, as well as their presence during the wake and funeral, have been invaluable.
Thank you to our friends, neighbours and the wider community who called at the family home, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers or expressed condolences via telephone and to those who attended the wake and funeral, some of whom travelled great distances to be with us. We are forever grateful for your kindness and support. We would like to thank those who prepared food and helped throughout the wake.

Sincere thanks to Fr Seamus Kelly for his spiritual support and for celebrating the Requiem Mass and Fr O’Kane who administered the last rites and visited the house during the wake.
A sincere thank you to Jolene and Martin for the beautiful music and singing at the funeral, and the piper who accompanied the funeral on Geordie’s final journey. Thank you to the Church Sacristan, Margaret Carton, Eucharistic ministers and Altar servers. Also, to Alison and all the ladies at Fincairn Hall for their kindness and providing the lovely tea and refreshments after the funeral Mass. We would also like to thank Shane McLaughlin for preparing the final resting place.

We express our sincere gratitude to McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their dignified, compassionate, and respectful handling of their responsibilities throughout this challenging time. Your professionalism and care have been deeply appreciated by our family.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation.
