McDAID Clare, 19th May 2026, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving daughters and family, at Altnagelvin Hospital. Clare, loving mother of Chloe and Erin, devoted grandmother of Diarmaid Óg, Kylan-kyle and the late Killian, beloved daughter of Mary and the late Hugo McDaid and the late Eamon Duffy, cherished sister of Tina, Sharon, David, James and Kevin. Loved and will be sadly missed by her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Clare will be reposing at her home 191 Carnhill on Wednesday 20th May from 2:00 p.m.

Funeral leaving her home on Friday 22nd May at 9:20 a.m. to St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
