It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Eamonn McDaid, May 29 2026, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, at his home, 35 Cromore Gardens (formerly of Inishowen Gardens), beloved husband of the late Joan, loving father of Paula, Tracey, Patrick and the late Edward, devoted grandfather of Cara, dear son of the late Babs and Eddie, cherished brother of Danny, Kieran and the late Liz, a dear and loving brother-in-law and a caring uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Eamonn will be reposing at his home. Family time please from 9:00pm to 12:00noon. Funeral leaving his home on Monday, June 1 at 9:20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Funeral Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
