McDAID Jim, 14th May 2026, peacefully at home, in the loving care of his family, after a long illness bravely borne. Jim, beloved son of the late Seamus and Vera, a dear and loving brother to Vincent, Iris, Ann, Paul, Helen, Vera, Donna, Patricia and the late Neil and John, a dear uncle, great-uncle and brother-in-law.

Jim will be reposing at his home Laurel Villa, 25 Park Avenue on Thursday 14th May from 5:00 pm. Family time please from 11:00 pm to 10:30 am. Funeral leaving his home on Saturday 16th May at 10:50 am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 11:30 am Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
