We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of John (Hen) McDaid, peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on 5th September 2024. Late of 15 Yeats Court and formerly of 77 Central Drive. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Jackie. Devoted father of Shaunpaul, Gerard and Kaleigh. A much loved father-in-law of Ann and Kieran. Loving granda of Eoin, Ella, Laila, Faye, Noah and Caelem. Dearest brother to all of his brothers and sisters. A dear uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Hen’s remains are now reposing at his late residence, 15 Yeats Court. Funeral leaving from there on Sunday 8th September at 12:50pm for 1:30pm Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
