McDAID Joseph (Joe) – peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, surrounded by all of his loving family on 10th November 2023. Late of 22 Fr. Mulvey Park and formerly of 55 Carnhill. May he rest in peace.
Beloved husband of the late Johanna. Devoted father of Rosaire, Darren, Linda, Alison, Lisa, Catherine and the late Joseph. Loving grandfather to all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Joe’s remains will be reposing at his daughter Lisa’s residence, 68 Grangemore Park from 11am tomorrow morning, Saturday 11th November. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 13th November at 9:15am for 10am requiem mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Wake house strictly private from 10pm until 11am.
