It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Sadie McDaid née Condren, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on 15th April 2025. Late of 41 Phillip Street. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of William (Billy). Devoted mother of Declan, Donna, Colleen, Gareth, Kevin and Sarah. Dearest mother-in-law of Paula, Martin, Mike, Gabby and James. Loving Nanny of Ronan, Dúalta, Sadhbh, Jack, Emer, Aoife and Oísin. A much loved sister of the late Jimmy, John, Billy, Marie, Foncy, Tom, Pat and Joe. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.

Sadie’s remains will be reposing at her late residence, 41 Phillip Street from 6:30pm this evening, Tuesday 15th April. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday 17th April at 9:20am for 10am Funeral Service in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Wake house will be private from 10pm until 10am.
