McFARLANE George passed away peacefully April 13, 2026 at Ambassador Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. (Formerly of Whitewell Road). Beloved husband of the late Ann, much loved father of Gerald, Moira, Sandra, Stephen, Dympna and Lawrence, devoted grandfather and great grandfather, adored father-in-law. He will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and friends.

George is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2GX until tomorrow Wednesday April 15th when he will arrive at his son Gerald’s residence, 106 Cliftondene Crescent, Belfast. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome from 1.00pm – 9.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 14 Newington Avenue at 11.00am on Thursday April 16th, followed by burial at Carnmoney Cemetery.
