John McFEELY

Date of Death: Monday 23rd December 2024 Town: Kilfennan
Date of Death: Monday 23rd December 2024

John’s wife Rita and daughters Paula, Kathy and Denise wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to our families, friends and neighbours, who supported and comforted us during our time of loss.
We would like to say thank you to everyone who helped us out at the wake and to those of you who took time out of your Christmas to call at our house, send messages of sympathy and cards. Thank you to everyone who brought gifts of food and flowers as well as sending prayers and for the many who attended the funeral.
Thank you to Currans Bakery for the funeral breakfast, for Doherty’s Bakery and for Flower Krazy, especially for working over Christmas for us.
Thank you to the Ambulance Services and to all the staff at Ward 40 for the care and kindness shown to John and ourselves.
To Fr Canny and Fr Mc Dermott, thank you for your prayers and for officiating the beautiful mass.
We are forever grateful to Johns band, The 3 J’s and Raymond Kelly, alongside his granddaughters who made the mass and graveside so special with their music and singing. John would have been so proud of you all.
Finally. we would like to thank Willie and Kieran O’ Brien Funeral Directors, for your kindness, compassion and the professionalism.
It is impossible to put into words our gratitude and appreciation, or to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgment to each and every one of you.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair,
Perhaps you sent those beautiful flowers, that we saw sitting there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say.
Perhaps you were nor there at all, just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you so much for whatever part.

Johns’ months mind mass will be held in , on Sat 1st February 2025 at 7pm.
