We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Teresa McGaughey peacefully at Cornfield Care Centre on the 9th of May 2023. May she rest in peace. Late of Holmlea Park, Dungiven.

Beloved daughter of the late William and Ellen McGaughey

Loving sister of the late Rev. Fr. John McGaughey, Annie (Brolly), Rev. Fr. William McGaughey, Rosie (O’Kane), Mary (Gormley), Eileen (Deeny), Peter McGaughey, Celine (Donaghey) and Bridget (who died in infancy). Will be sorely missed by her nieces and nephews and the entire family circle.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin Funeral Directors (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven BT47 4NQ) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm this evening – Tuesday (9th).Leaving the funeral home at 8.30pm to repose at her former childhood residence 56 Monadore Road, Altinure, Park, Co Derry, BT47 4DP.

Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Funeral on Thursday 11th of May leaving at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Altinure. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
