We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Brian McGilligan peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family on the 15th of February 2024. May he rest in peace. Late of 397 Foreglen Road, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Ursula and Brian and fond father in law of Gavin and Caroline. Devoted grandfather of Natalie, Cassie and Jessie and great grandfather of Edith and Oliver.

Son of the late Mary and Harry McGilligan Ovil and loving brother of Harry, Sean, Angela and late Norman and Kay R.I.P. Will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, and extended family circle.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home today – Friday 6pm to 8pm. Leaving the funeral home at 8pm to repose at his late home. Family time please 10pm to 11am.

Funeral from his late home on Sunday 18th of February leaving at 2.45pm for 3.30pm Requiem Mass in St Patricks Church, Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Requiem mass can be viewed via the church webcam. Saint Joseph patron of the departed souls pray for him.
