Lily McGirr died on Sunday 21st February 2021, peacefully at her son’s residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Edward, cherished mother to Eddie (Kay), Vincent (Rosemary), Fran, Patricia Ward (Jim), Damien (Geraldine) and the late Brendan (Breige), Sean (Jenny) and Bernie Maguire (John). Cherished sister to Maureen Connolly and the late Hughie, Tommy, Phil, Barney, Brendan, Vincent, Eamon, Stephen, Maggie Mc Guinness and Cecilia Gormley.

Lily will leave her late residence; 30 Legamaghery Road, Fintona BT78 2HA on Wednesday 24th February for requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church Fintona. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of Health and Safety within the community, the house will be private and the funeral limited to 25 persons. Alternatively, the funeral mass can be viewed at 11am on Wednesday 24th February via Donacavey Parish webcam.

Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughter, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
