McGIVERN Margaret (Newry) (née Mackin) July 8, 2026, (peacefully) in Craigavon Area Hospital surrounded by her loving family, formerly of Barcroft Park. Margaret, beloved wife of the late George R.I.P., loving mother of Ann, Sean (Deborah), Thomas (Janice), Eamon, Briege (Jim), Geraldine (Bene) and Georgina (Kenny) and treasured sister of Sr. Geraldine (Mackin), Elizabeth (Kennedy) and the late Agnes (Farrell) and Aloyisus (Mackin) R.I.P.

Her remains will repose at Paul McEvoy’s Funeral Home, 80 Canal Street, Newry, tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday from 3pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass for Margaret will be celebrated on Saturday at 12 noon in The Church of the Assumption, Drumalane, burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sister, brother-in-law Patsy, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle. “Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.”
