McGOVERN Helena Katherine (Nellie) Died Tuesday, 27th May 2025, peacefully at Annadale Nursing Home.

Beloved Wife of the late Gerry McGovern. Devoted Mother of Vincent, Carmel and Michael. Beloved Nana to Sarah, Julia, Hannah, Michael, Ruairi, Tom and Daniel. Mother-in-law to Marianne, Andrew and Georgie.

Requiem Mass will be held on Monday 2 June 2025, 11am in St Brigid’s Church, 40 Derryvolgie Avenue, Belfast. Followed by burial at Carnmoney Cemetery. Nellie will be reposing at her daughter’s family home, Demesne Park, Holywood, Sunday 1st June 2-8 pm.
