The daughter, son and family circle of the late Archie R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

A special thanks to Fr. Blayney for his kindness and friendship over the years and his spiritual support and guidance at the time of the funeral and Fr. McNally and Fr. PJ McCamphill for con-celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass with Fr. Blayney.

Thanks to Moira Crawley for the beautiful music, the sacristan and those who prepared the grave.
Thanks to Dr. J McKelvey and all the Doctors, nurses and staff of Cullybackey Health Centre, District Nursing Team, Kennedy’s Pharmacy and the carers for all their help and kindness to Archie and the family over the years.

The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, as well as those who gathered along the route from dad’s home to Dunloy on the day of his funeral, we are truly grateful.

Finally thanks to the McKiernan Family for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The month mind Mass for Archie will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd October at 6pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Dunloy.

Due to government restrictions the family home is strictly private and funeral Mass numbers are limited to social distancing within the church.

McGOWAN Archie died on 30th August 2021, peacefully. Late of 169 Bridge Road, Dunloy.

Beloved husband of the late Patricia; loving father of Breige and Malachy; dear grandfather of Ciaran and Niamh and brother of the late Frank.

Funeral from his late residence, 169 Bridge Road, on Wednesday at 10:15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Dunloy. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. (Requiem Mass can be viewed on Dunloy & Cloughmills Parish Facebook Page.). St.Pio pray for him.

Deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

No flowers please.
