The family of the late Colette McGrady would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who supported them in their recent bereavement.
Mum passed away on 21st January 2024 at the Downe Hospital, Downpatrick. We are very grateful for the exceptional care Mum received from all staff on Ward 1, Downe Hospital, and from her GPs Drs Small, Moore and Consiglio and staff, District Nurses, Down Community Care, Lydian Care, Linda Laird and staff at Social Services, Nicole, Doris’ Pharmacy and their driver, John Gordon.
Our thanks also to all those who attended Mum’s funeral and those who supported us in many different ways: those who travelled long distances, sent cards, phoned, sent messages, brought food or made a donation to Diabetes UK and helped in other ways.
We are very grateful to Charles Rourke and Sons, Funeral Directors, for their professionalism and courtesy in making arrangements for Mum’s funeral and thanks also to the grave diggers.
Thanks to Canon Murray and to those Clergy who assisted our brother Feargal at Mum’s Requiem Mass, to the Knights and Dames of the Holy Sepulchre, the pupils of St Patrick’s Grammar School and Assumption Grammar School who provided Guards of Honour at the funeral.
Thanks to Bernie and Marty Campbell who provided such beautiful music which Mum would have appreciated.
We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as our sincere gratitude to everyone for their support at a difficult time for us.

Mum’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 28th February 2024 in St Patrick’s
Church, Downpatrick at 7.30pm.
