McGRANE Sean (Strabane) February 4, 2025 at Silverdale Care Home. Sean R.I.P., (formerly of Modern Man, Strabane).

Beloved husband of Sheila, much loved father of Denise, James and Jon, father-in-law of Neil, Edel and Gail, dearly loved grandfather of Emer, Orla, Molly, Eilidh and Annie and brother of Marie. Funeral leaving his home, 27 Glenevish Hill, Strabane tomorrow Thursday at 11.25am for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane at 12noon. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Melmount. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, sister and family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Alzheimer’s Society. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am.

Very sorry to hear of Mr. McGrane’s passing. He was my fashion guru in the '80s — always there with a warm welcome at Modern Man, followed by not-so-subtle hints that I wasn’t modern enough and should be in the latest Levi’s. Sure enough, I would be shortly after. Sean and Sheila were also great friends to my parents who can't be there today unfortunately. To Denise, James, and John, it’s been a long time, and I hope you are all doing well. I’m very sorry for your loss.
