The family of the late Moira Rose Mc Guckin would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who supported us in any way during our recent bereavement.
Mammys illness was met by the attentive care and professionalism of the doctors and staff of Kilrea Health Clinic and The staff of Shields Chemists, Kilrea and Swatragh. A special heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Community Respiratory Team Mid-Ulster Hospital, for the caring and dignified attention given to Mammy at home. Thank you to all the staff of Boc for your expertise and prompt delivery of service. Thanks to these healthcare teams Mammy got her wish to be at home, cared and supported by her loving family and for this we are truly blessed.
Our family would sincerely like to thank Enda and the McCusker Bros Magherafelt for their guidance, compassion and professionalism during the funeral arrangements.
A sincere thank you to Father Keaney PP Granaghan, for his very warm, spiritual requiem mass and to the sacristan Maise as well. Thank you for all the readers who took part in the mass. Warmest thanks to Declan O Kane and Una Magill who sang and played so beautifully during the funeral mass. We greatly appreciate the work of the gravediggers who prepared her final resting place.
Most heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our families, extended families, friends, neighbours, customers, parish and wider community for your support and guidance during Mammys wake and funeral. Thanks to those who travelled long distances especially in these current times. For those who helped out in any way, came to the home, rang, sent letters, mass cards, sympathy cards, messages via social media, txts, emails and flowers. And also to those who viewed the mass and prayed via webcam.
The Friel and Mc Guckin family trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a sincere and heartfelt expression of our appreciation to the love and support we received during our bereavement.
The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all intentions.
The months mind mass for Moira Rose will be celebrated in St. Johns Church, Granaghan, Swatragh. Saturday 11th of December at 7pm.

Loving mother of Siobhan Friel, Laura Kearney, Dermot Friel, Colette McGuckin, daughter in law Caitriona Friel, Anne O’Kane (Maghera), Tony, Brendan (Bellaghy), Joe, Christopher, Gerard and Kevin (Cookstown), dear sister of James Joesph Quigg (Dungiven), Mary Skelly (Garvagh), Gretta Mullan (Drumsurn), Kieran Quigg (The Pot Bar), Vincent Quigg (Glenullin) and the late Brian Quigg (Drumsurn), Noelle Forrest (Limavady), and Damien and Theresa Quigg (Dungiven).
Funeral from her home Friels Bar and Restaurant, 2 Kilrea Road Swatragh on Wednesday 17th November at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in Church of St. John the Baptist Granaghan, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Our lady of Knock pray for her.
Very deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
