Date of Death: Tuesday 7th January 2025 Town: Derrylecka
Date of Death: Tuesday 7th January 2025

After the sad and sudden passing of Doreen McGuinness, much loved Wife, Mummy, Daughter, Sister, Sister-in-law, Auntie, Great Auntie and friend to many. We, her family would like to express our gratitude and thanks to all who helped and continue to do so during this extremely difficult time for us all.
The Emergency Services and Coroner who came to help. To those who helped at the house putting up lights and managing traffic. To those who sent food your kindness was amazing. To the wonderful neighbours who helped in so many ways, those who helped with tea during the wake, the large number of people who came to Doreen’s wake and attended the funeral. To family who travelled to be with us it was lovely to have your support. The men from Seatruck your support has been amazing to each one of us.
Many thanks to Monsignor Connolly for his help and kindness and for celebrating Doreen’s Mass. To Kerri Kennedy for the beautiful singing and Mayobridge Golf Club for the food afterwards. A special thankyou to Carlingford Lodge Nursing Home, CLDN/Seatruck, Terraquest, Unilin & St. Colman’s Primary School, Saval for your continued support to our families during this difficult time, we are extremely grateful to you all.
Finally, a heartfelt thank-you to James and Charles of Charles Digney & Sons Funeral Directors for their professionalism, care & dignified manner throughout.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
Doreen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Mayobridge at 6.00pm on Saturday 8th February 2025.
