Gerald (Gerry) McHugh died on 19th February 2021, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.  Late of 26 St. Jeans Cottages, Cookstown.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen, RIP, devoted father of Liam, James, Colum, Damian and Bernadette (Sonner), also father-in-law of Denise, Mary, Sharron, Helen and Don. Dear brother of Mary (Hegarty), Patsy, Peter also the late John, Joe, Henry, Eileen (O’Donnell) and Elizabeth (Quinn), RIP.

Gerry’s funeral will take place on Monday, 22nd February at 12 noon in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown, burial afterwards in Forthill Cemetery.Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughter, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours friends and the extended family circle.  O most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in thee.

Due to Government guidelines (re: Coronavirus) the wake and funeral will be private to family.  Gerry’s funeral Mass can be viewed on the link below.  Gerry’s remains will leave his late residence at 11.30 am via Main Street and will travel from the Church to the cemetery via Fairhill Road.
