McILDOON Bertha, (Portadown) May 6, 2026, (peacefully) in her daughter’s home after a short illness. Bertha Irene, beloved wife of the late Sidney, cherished mum of Dianne, Clive & the late Glenn, mother-in-law of Stephen & Gillian, devoted nanny to Caleb, Lydia, Dawson & Sawyer and much-loved sister of Isobel, Ray, Vera & Hazel. Irene will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by the entire family circle.

House private. Family and friends will be made welcome in Joseph Poots & Son Funeral Home, 42/44 Bridge Street, Portadown, BT63 5AE on Friday 8th May between 6pm and 7:30pm.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Irene’s life will be held in St. Saviour’s Church, The Dobbin on Sunday 10th May 2026 at 3pm followed by committal in the adjoining Churchyard.
