McILROY, Matthew Robert (Matty) passed away 26th June 2026 suddenly as a result of an accident. Proud daddy to Binky and step-dad to Jenson. Beloved partner of Zoe. Loving son of the late Laura and caring brother to Mya and partner Theo. Dear nephew to Joanne and Mark and cousin of Cameron and Molly. Beloved grandson of the late Matthew and Davina McIlroy.

House private please. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in Matthew’s late home, 64 Paisley Road, Carrickfergus, BT38 9AH on Thursday 2nd July at 2.00 p.m. followed by interment in Victoria Cemetery.

Matthew will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his entire family circle.
