The family of the late Seamus McIvor RIP wish to express our heartful thanks and gratitude to all those who supported us on the loss of a much-loved Husband, Father, Brother, Father-in-law, Grandfather, Great Grandfather.
We would also like to thank our extended family circle, friends, neighbours for their support, everyone who called to the house, sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, telephone messages or used social media. Also, to all of those who gave donations towards Marie-curie. We would like to say thanks to everyone who lined the route on the day of funeral and attended the funeral mass. Also, St Treas GFC and neighbours who help with traffic management.
A special thanks to FR. Fox for his pastoral care and the celebration of the Requiem Mass and to Michael Mawhinney for his beautiful singing and music which accompanied the funeral mass. To the sacristan, and the grave diggers and everyone else who helped during the mass.
We extend our grateful thanks to all those who cared and attended to Seamus during his illness. To the staff of Antrim Area Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Unit, the Diamond Medical Centre, the District Nurses and Mclaughlin’s Pharmacy. We would also like to thank the Marie-Curie Nurses, Hospice Nurses and the Carers and Sitting Service.
A special heartfelt thanks to the McCusker Bros, for their professional advice, efficient, compassionate and sensitive handling of all the funeral arrangements.
We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all, as it would be impossible to express our appreciation to each individual. Your help and kindness were a great comfort to our family during this sad and difficult time.
The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions at Seamus Months Mind Mass will be celebrated at St Trea’s Church Newbridge, on Tuesday the 2nd of November at 7.00pm
McIVOR Seamus died on 2nd October 2021. Late of 23 O’Neill Park Ballyronan BT45 6LX.
Beloved husband of Bernie and loving father of Geraldine (McCoy), Seamus, Mark, Kieran, Darren and late infant John, son of the late John and Betty and dear brother of Mary McKinless and the late Hughie, Mickey John, Peter, Gerry, Patsy, Gustie and Lawrence.
Funeral from his home 23 O’Neill Park Ballyronan BT45 6LX on Monday 4th October at 1.40pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in Church of St. Trea Newbridge, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Deeply regretted by his wife, daughter, sons, son in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
House Strictly Private, The Funeral numbers will be limited to social distancing within the Church. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to Marie Curie c/o The Family.
