As a family we would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to all the people who gathered around and helped us through a very difficult time of Jason’s passing, you will never know how much it meant to us.
To all of you who called at our home, sent flowers, beautiful cards and left food. We extend our love and appreciation to each person who travelled to the funeral. Your kind words and acts of kindness have given us hope and peace at this time.
We would also like to share our thanks and appreciation to the Fire Service, PSNI and Ambulance serviced also those who came to Jason’s aid.
To Rev. Patrick Barton for his heartfelt service, to the organist, and the members of Dunseverick Lodge who assisted with catering and providing us with their Hall. We would also like to thank Allister Kyle TUV, Jim Allister TUV, Members of the Masonic Lodge, Chris Elliott Dunseverick Lodge, the Farming community and McConaghy’s Contracts for their mark of honour to Jason.
Finally to David Robinson and his staff, our sincere thanks for all their support in helping his young family through the arrangements, the very kind and professional service was really appreciated.

McKAY Jason, January 26th 2025 suddenly at his home, 7 Skerryview, Craigahulliar, Portrush. Jason dearly loved husband of Serena, much loved dad of Faith, Lori, Ava, Lilyahna and David, very dear son of Ian and Joan, stepson of Karen and Stephen, loving brother of Morgan, Lucas, Max, Miley, Ethan, Amber and the late Emma, dear grandson of Nora, Isobel, Ivan and the late William, step grandson of Ronnie and a dear son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and nephew.
Funeral Service on Friday at 2.30pm in Dunseverick Parish Church, burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Callers welcome at his home from Tuesday at 11.00am.
Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Cancer Research c/o DJM Robinson & Son, 121 Culcrum Rd., Cloughmills, BT44 9DT.
