McKEAGUE Gerard Malachy Kevin (Kevin) Died 22nd September, peacefully at Macmillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Kevin, beloved husband of Bernadette, devoted father of Gerard, Rory, Bridgeen, Joseph, Kevin and Mary; and cherished grandfather of Danny, Caoimhe, Johnny, Maggie, Katie, Tess, Eilís, Dara, Patrick, May, Fionntán, Meadbh and Aislinn. Much loved brother of Brendan and Mary B. Loving father-in-law to Tracey, Niamh, Dave, Kerrie and Zac. Loving brother-in-law to Paddy, Penny, Bridgeen & Seamus, Jimmy & Una.

He is now reunited with his father Gerry and mother Margaret.

Kevin will be reposing at his son’s house 1 Hollybrook Heights, Newtownabbey from Thursday 24th September, anyone wishing to pay their respects are welcome to call between the hours of 4.00pm – 9.00pm, Friday 25th September 12.00pm – 4.00pm. Kevin’s remains will leave at 6.00pm to arrive at St Gerard’s Church for 6.30pm.

Requiem Mass will be held at 9.30am on Saturday 26th September 2026 in St Gerard’s Church, Antrim Road, this can be viewed live, followed by burial at Ballyclare Cemetery.

Thanks to the dedicated staff at Belfast city Hospital, Cancer Unit, and the Macmillan Unit in Antrim for their wonderful care and attention.
