McKEOWN Dr Gabriel, peacefully at home on 16th August 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Late of Trossachs Drive, Belfast. Beloved husband of Vera, devoted father of Dominic and Maria, and father-in-law of Louise and Fearghal. A much-loved and cherished grandfather of Lauren, Cillian, Ryan and Amadea. Dearly loved brother-in-law of Bernie and a beloved uncle.

Gabriel will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, wider family and all his friends.

Gabriel is reposing at his daughter’s home, 105 Carryduff Road, The Temple, Lisburn, BT27 6YL, on Tuesday 18th August, between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to do so during these hours. The house will be strictly private outside these times.

His remains will be received to St Anne’s Church, Dunmurry, BT10 0LF, on Wednesday 19th August at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 20th August at 11.30 am, followed by burial in Belfast City Cemetery.
