It is with the greatest of regret that we have to inform you of the death of James McKeown, 50 Skerry East Road, Newtowncrommelin. BT43 6RP.

James passed away peacefully at home on 30th January 2025, may he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of the late Mary, borther of Sean, Barney, Paddy, Mick, Bridie and the late Madge, Maisie, Marea, Kevin, Dympna and Eileen.

Beloved father of Angela, Martin, Sean, Catherine (Lynas), Eamon, Lisa (O’Loan), Helen and Pauline (Callaghy). Dear father-in-law of Gerard, Mabel, Louise, Adrian, Pauline, Jimmy, Martin and Paddy. Much loved granda to Jodi, James, Rebecca, Joshua, Sarah, Brendan, Peter, Conor, Ronan, Adam, Mary, Ruby, Jacob, Patrick, Anna, Roisin and Kate. Great granda to Carter, Ebha, Leona and Dara.

James’ funeral will leave his late residence on Sunday 2nd February at 11.20am to Mary Queen of Peace Church for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family and family circle. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Brother André pray for him.
