McKEOWN Michael, (Newry, formerly of Silverwood, Lurgan) September 15, 2026, (peacefully) at Belfast City Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Michael, beloved husband of Carmel and a loving father of Colin, Phillip, Jonathan and Tony, a dear father-in-law to Sarah, Anne-Marie and Gretta and a devoted grandfather to Lorna, Megan, Eibhlín, Máebh, Fintan, Liam, Olivia and Harry. Loving son of the late Terrance and Catherine McKeown (Kiln Lane, Silverwood) and brother of Máire, Junior, Diarmuid, Donagh and Aideen, and the late Frankie, Jim, Patricia, Jackie and Gerald, a dear brother in law to Patricia, Bridie, Frances, Lilya and Malcolm, and caring uncle.

Michael will repose at his family home, 9 Forest Hills, Old Warrenpoint Road, BT34 2FL, Thursday from 12 noon to 8.00 pm where family and friends are welcome to call and pay their respects.

Funeral on Saturday at 9.45am from the family home to the Cathedral of St.Patrick and St.Colman, Newry, for 10.30am Requiem Mass, followed by a committal.

The family kindly ask that the house remains strictly private outside of these times. Thank you for respecting their wishes. St Padre Pio and Our Lady pray for him.
