McKEOWN Sean (‘The Civilest Man in Ireland’), died at home July 31, 2026. He will be sadly missed by his wife Terry and children Conor (Gary), Sinead, Niall (Samantha) and Hugh (Boglarka), his grandchildren Lorka and Matthew and by his mother Geraldine, his sisters Ann, Roisin, Grainne and Geraldine and brothers Dennis, Colm and Paddy, remembering also his deceased brother Gerry, and by his many friends and wider family circle.

Sean will be reposing at his home, 34 Brookvale Avenue, Belfast for those wishing to pay their respects. Removal on Friday August 7th for a Service of Remembrance at 10.30am in St Joseph’s, Sailortown with committal afterwards in Roselawn Crematorium at 12.40pm. We would like to thank NI Hospice, Community Nursing Team and Cancer Lifeline for their outstanding support.
