Date of Death: Thursday 15th May 2025

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The family of the late Eamon McKinney of 18 Brockagh Road, Eglinton wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us after Eamon’s sudden death, who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, brought food gifts and attended his wake and requiem mass. These acts provided our family with great comfort at a very sad time.
We extend a special thanks to the first responders at Eamon’s sudden passing in his beloved Fanad, John Joe McGowan, Donegal Ambulance Service, local Gardai, Colin McAteer and local priest Fr. Anthony Briody. Their support, care and professionalism gave our family great solace at his time of passing.
We also thank funeral directors W.J. O Brien and especially Kieran for their advice, dignity and support through the post mortem, wake and funeral.
We extend our thanks to Peter McCloskey, John McNicholl and piper Willie Coffey for providing the music before, during and after the requiem mass.
We thank the staff of Eglinton Medical Centre and Bradley’s Pharmacy who provided Eamon with care, compassion and assistance in his last years.
Deep gratitude to Slaughtmanus GAA for the use of the hall and to Shauna Cassidy and staff for providing the lovely refreshments there after the funeral.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Fr. Noel McDermott and Fr. Liam Boyle who were great friends to Eamon and who provided a beautiful requiem mass.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually we would ask the people of Tamnaherin and Fanad, all those that helped in any way at Eamon’s wake and funeral to accept this acknowledgement as a token of our family’s deep appreciation.
Eamon’s months mind mass will be in St. Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin on Sunday 22nd June 2025 at 10am.
