We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Jean (Jinny) McKinney née Braid, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 26th September 2024. Late of 29 Ernest Street. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Len (Brother) McKinney. Devoted mother of Gerard, Martina, Len, Andrew and the late Bill. A much loved grandmother and great-grandmother to all of her loving grandchildren. Dear sister of Mary, Rosaleen and the late William, Anne and Kathleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Jinny’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 29 Ernest Street from 5pm this afternoon, Thursday 26th September. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 28th September at 9:15am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
