McLAUGHLIN Elizabeth, passed away peacefully on 28th July 2026 at the Northern Ireland Hospice after a short illness. Beloved mother of Maura, and sister to Hugh, Marian, Pat, Kathleen, Paul and Brenda, she will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, great-nephews, friends and wider family circle.

Elizabeth will be reposing at O’Kane’s Funeral Home, 2 St Jude’s Avenue, Belfast on Thursday 30th July and Friday 31st July, with family in attendance on both days from 1-4pm. Elizabeth will be welcomed to St. Malachy’s Church, Alfred Street, Belfast at 6pm on Friday 31st July, followed by a requiem Mass at 10am on Saturday 1st August, and a private cremation at Roselawn Cemetery on Monday 3rd August.

A month’s mind Mass will take place at 1pm on Tuesday 25th August at St. Malachy’s Church, Alfred Street, Belfast when Elizabeth’s ashes will be interred in the Church’s crypt.
