The family of the late Francis McLaughlin would like to express their deepest appreciation for all the support we received following the death of a much loved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.

Special thanks to the Doctors, District nurses and staff of Maghera Health Centre, the fantastic staff of both Harkin’s pharmacy and O’Kane’s pharmacy Draperstown. The Consultants at The City Hospital Belfast and the Palliative care team, Marie Curie nurses and Ann’s care team you all ensured daddy got cared for at home, to this we are very grateful.

Thanks to our Parish priest Father Paddy Doherty and to Father Kieran for your spiritual support and attention through daddy’s illness. For the beautiful funeral mass, the lovely homily and kind words and prayers. Thanks to Una Mc Gill for her beautiful singing and music, to Sally the sacristan for preparing the chapel. To the grave diggers for preparing daddy’s resting place.

To Tom and Enda McCusker for your guidance, support and professionalism throughout daddy’s funeral arrangements, thank you. To all who called at our home, sent mass and sympathy cards, messages, phone calls, provided food, a massive Thank you. To all who lined daddy’s funeral route, attended the funeral or watched via webcam we were overwhelmed.

Daddy’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Friday 17th December at 7.30pm in Saint Patrick’s church, Glen.
