The family of the late Gerard McLaughlin wish to express our gratitude to all our family, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement of a much-loved brother, uncle, and great uncle.
Heartfelt thanks are extended to those who sent cards, messages of condolences, provided food and who attended the wake and funeral.
We would like to express a special thanks to those that cared for Gerard in his last few months and also the staff at Eglinton Health Centre. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and all the staff in ward 40 who took such good care of Gerard in his final few days. Thank you for the dignified and professional care that was given to Gerard.
A special thanks to Father McDermott for all his spiritual care over the last number of years and the beautiful mass and thoughtful homily. His kind words and support over this difficult time were very much appreciated. Thank you also to Peter and Rachel for the beautiful music at the funeral mass and also to Brain Sacristan of Star of the Sea for all his help.
Our sincere appreciation is extended to Willie, Kieran, Noeleen and the entire team at WJ O’Brien and sons funeral directors who acted with care and dignity during the wake and funeral service.

Gerard’s month mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 7th December at 5pm in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale.
