Martin’s partner Avril, his sons Jack and Rory, Martin’s mum and dad Paddy & Celine his brothers and sisters Sean, Kevin, Anne-Marie, Damien and Melissa along with Avril’s family and all their extended family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them through their recent bereavement.

Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, called to the house, sent messages of support, all those who made donation to Salvation Army in lieu of flowers, lined the funeral route, attended the requiem Mass or viewed the service via the chapel webcam. We would like to thank Monsignor Bryan McCanny for his beautiful mass and comfort he gave from his visits. Also thanks to Phil Houston of Ballykelly Presbyterian Church for his visits and words of comfort and prayers. To Isobel and Charlene for the beautiful heartfelt music that made the funeral Mass more special.
A very special thank you to the ambulance crew, and the doctors and nurses who attended Martin especially Lisa, Gemma and Fiona in ICU your attendance to Martin and support to us as a family we will remain forever grateful.

A word of thanks also to those who provided food, sandwiches, cakes, scones, biscuits, and all who kept the kitchen going.

To Jean Boyd of McCourts Bar for the much welcoming dinner after Martin’s burial.
We also want to thank Thomas and Brendan of O’Briens of Limavady funeral directors for their help in carrying out the funeral arrangements in such a dignified and professional manner.

We were extremely humbled by the number of people who prayed for Martin and paid their respects over the period of his wake, funeral and the days after. Your warmth and kindness have been fully appreciated by the family.

Martin’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 26th February at 6pm
in Christ the King Church Limavady.
The Mass can also be viewed via the Church webcam. All welcome.

McLAUGHLIN, Martin – 28th January 2022 – (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 18 Roemill Road, Limavady.
Beloved partner of Avril, loving father of Jack, and Rory, dear son of Paddy and Celine, a much loved brother of Sean, Kevin, Annmarie, Damien, and Melissa. Brother-n-law of: Caroline, Mairead, Eddie, and Charlene. A much loved uncle of: Josh, Luke, Alex, Grace Ann, Kiernan, Eile, Conor, Orla, Oran, Jamie, Lilyrose, Danny, Aimee, Erin, Kyle and Layla. Deeply regretted by Avril’s family, her dad Jackie, brothers and sisters, Wesley, Russell, Vola, Fred, and Maria, their partners, Tanya, Teresa, Rita, and Marty, and their family’s, Ashley, Hayley, Lauren, Shona, Debra, Amber, Dana, Jordan, Helena, Max and Lucie.

Sadly due to current restrictions wake and funeral is for family and friends only. Funeral will leave from his home, 18 Roemill Road, Limavady on Monday at 8.50am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am in St Mary’s Church Ardmore followed by interment in adjoining Cemetery.
