It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Pat (Jimmy) McLaughlin, peacefully at his home on 23rd November 2024.

Late of 1 Moir Street, Alloa, Clackmannashire, Scotland and formerly of Desertegney, Glebe, Co. Donegal. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of the late Mary. Devoted father of Christine, Liz, Jim, Kieran and Martin. Loving grandfather and great-grandfather to all of his grandchildren. A much loved brother, father-in-law and uncle. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all his wider family circle and friends.

Pat’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty funeral home and chapel of rest. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 29th November at 9:30am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the McClafferty funeral home and chapel of rest from 4pm until 6pm on Thursday 28th June.
