William (Billy) McLAUGHLIN
The family of William McLaughlin RIP (Billy) wish to extend their sincere thanks to the many kind friends and neighbours who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement and to all who attended the funeral.
Our thanks to Fr. David Borland PP for the celebration of Requiem Mass, and for the choir of St. Margarets Cathedral Ayr for the beautiful music. To Fr. McGuiggan for officiating at the graveside in Dungiven Cemetery. Special thanks to the GP’s of Racecourse Medical Group Ayr, and to the Staff of ‘Windyhall Nursing Home’ Ayr for their exceptional care and attention.
To those who sent Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards, messages of condolences and donations to charities ‘Crossroads’ and ‘Spred’ (Galloway).

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of William “Billy” McLaughlin peacefully at Windyhall Nursing Home Ayr. Formerly of Dowland Road, Limavady.
Beloved husband of Rosemary, much loved and loving father of Adrian and Brenda Fraser (Stephen), devoted grandfather of Jack and Euan.
Son of the late Hugh and Jane McLaughlin R.I.P Aghanloo, Limavady and dear brother of Betty, Margaret, Monica, John, Brian and the late Hugh, Bridget and Mary R.I.P. Brother-in-law of Sean Farren, Eithne Kadri, Kathleen Samms and the late Gerardine Farren R.I.P. Very deeply regretted by the entire family Circle.
Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday 1st October 2024 in St. Margaret’s Cathedral, Ayr at 10am.
Billy’s remains will then arrive at St.Patrick’s Church Dungiven at approximately 7:15pm on Tuesday the 1st of October to repose overnight. Interment will take place at St. Patricks’s Church, Dungiven, graveyard on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 after 10am Mass.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers if wished to either: Spred Galloway/Ayr C/o St. Margaret’s Cathedral, John Street, Ayr. KA8 OBS or Crossroads South Ayrshire, Biggart Hospital, Prestwick, KA9 2HQ. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Knock pray for him.
