Date of Death: Tuesday 16th November 2021 Town: Upperlands
Date of Death: Tuesday 16th November 2021

The family of the late Michael RIP would like to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who supported us in any way during our recent bereavement.
Sincere thanks to the medical teams for their caring and dignified attention to Michael throughout his illness. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of Kilrea Health Centre, Shields’ Pharmacy Kilrea and Swatragh, the Rheumatology and Respiratory teams in Antrim Area Hospital, the Community Respiratory team in the Mid Ulster Hospital Magherafelt and the staff and delivery drivers from BOC.

A special word of thanks to Fr Keaney, Parish Priest of Granaghan, for his spiritual support and attention, for the funeral mass and his kind, thoughtful words and prayers. Thanks to Hannah Ferguson for her beautiful music and singing during the funeral mass and to DJ Print for providing the mass leaflets. Thanks also to Enda and Tom, from McCusker Bros Magherafelt, for their guidance, compassion and professionalism during the funeral arrangements. We appreciate the work of the sacristan Maise, and the grave diggers who prepared Michael’s final resting place.

Most heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our families, extended families, neighbours and friends, for their support and guidance during Michael’s illness, wake and funeral. For those who came to the home, rang, sent letters, Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages via social media, texts, emails, brought flowers and food, many thanks. Thanks to those who gathered outside to pay their respects, those who formed the guards of honour, those who gathered along the route to the church, attended the funeral and those who viewed the mass and prayed via webcam.

As it would be impossible to thank individually all those whose kindness has brought such comfort to us, we trust this will be accepted by all with our sincere thanks. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Michael’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 18th December at 12 noon in St. John’s Church, Granaghan, Swatragh.
