We, the family of the late Dessie McQuade RIP, 28 St Malachy’s Park, Camlough, wish to express our heartfelt thanks for the kindness, sympathy and support received during our recent sad loss of a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, father in law and friend.
Thanks to all our family members and friends who provided such practical help, love and compassion to Dessie and ourselves throughout his short illness. We will be forever grateful.
Thank you to all the medical staff who looked after Dessie with dignity and care both in Daisy Hill Hospital and Southern Area Hospice and also at home.
Sincere thanks to all who attended the wake, called at the house and sent cards and messages of sympathy.
Thanks to Fr Aidan Dunne PP for the beautiful celebration of Dessie’s Requiem Mass and pastoral support. Thanks also to Kathleen and Terry for the beautiful music.
Our sincere appreciation to Daniel and the staff of Daniel Mallon Funeral Directors for their caring, dignified and professional funeral arrangements and guidance throughout.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation.

We regret to inform you of the passing away of the late Dessie McQuade RIP, 28 St Malachy’s Park, Camlough, Co Armagh, passed away 18th November 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of Ann, deeply devoted and loving Daddy to Steve, Linda, Geraldine, Cathy, Nicola and Rachel, cherished Granda to Caolan, Cara, Aine, Aimee, Conor, Evie, Emma and Adam, loving son of the late Joe and Lily RIP, dearest brother to Malachy, Colm, Geraldine, Una, Eileen, Briege, Maeve and the late Kevin and Kathleen RIP, son in law of Bernie, father in law to Joleen, Maurice, Kevin, Paddy and Rob, a beloved brother in law, uncle, friend and neighbour.

Dessie’s remains will repose at his late residence 28 St Malachy’s Park, Camlough from Sunday evening.

Funeral leaving at 10.45am Tuesday 21st November for 11am Requiem Mass in St Malachy’s Church, Carrickcruppen. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

House private on the morning of the funeral for family and close friends.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family circle, many friends and neighbours.

Family flowers only please- donations in lieu of flowers to SAHS c/o the family.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for him, may his gentle soul rest in peace.
