McQUAID (née Sherlock) Margaret (Castleblayney and Keady) January 16, 2025, (peacefully) at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her family, late of Tattyreagh North, Annyalla. Margaret (Rita), predeceased by her husband John, parents Henry and Mary, brothers Frank, Harry, Jimmy, Pat and Gerry.

Rita, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, daughters Veronica, Barbara, Katherine, Allison and Diane, son John, daughter in-law Carmel, son in-laws Eamon, Francis and John, sisters Philomena and Rose, brothers Michael, Brendan and Gabriel, her cherished grandchildren Henry, Kevin, Stephanie, Amy-Leigh, Mandy, Ryan, Jonathan, Lorna, Zara, Orla, Anthony, Richard, Charlotte and Emily, her 20 adored great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Rita will repose at her residence in Tattyreagh North, Annyalla (A75D702), on Friday from 3pm until 9pm. Removal from the residence on Saturday morning at 11:30am to arrive St. Michael’s Church Annyalla for funeral mass at 12noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
