McQUAID, Samuel Robert (Sam) – 2nd January 2022. Peacefully in his 82nd year, at Carnalea Care Home, formerly of Eglantine Road, Newport, Lisburn.
Beloved husband of Helena, much loved father to Kenneth, Andrew and Jennifer. Dear father-in-law of Patricia. Proud granda to Laurence and Lewis, Karl and Chloe, Connor and Peter, brother of Raymond and partner Olwyn and uncle of Karen and her husband Reuben.
Funeral service in Eglantine Parish Church (Eglantine Road, Lisburn BT27 5RQ) on Thursday 6th January at 2pm afterwards to the adjoining churchyard.
House strictly private. No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, cheques payable to Alzheimer’s Society c/o Ronnie Thompson Funeral Directors, 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn BT28 1UF.
Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughter, brother, grandchildren and family circle.
