McSHANE (née Harkin) Elizabeth (Betty) May 23rd 2026, beloved wife of, Andy, late of Ballyarnett Road and Ballymagroarty and formerly of The Old Moss Road) loving mother of Ivan, Andrew and Edward, cherished mother-in-law of Jennifer and Joanne, devoted grandmother of Rei and Niamh and dear sister of Rose and the late Patsy, Mary, Danny, Eddie and Davy. Deeply regretted by all her extended family and friends.

Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU on Sunday, May 31 2026 from 3 – 5 pm. Betty will then be removed from there to repose overnight in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 o’clock. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
