McSHANE (née Smith) Mona, passed away peacefully at Avila Nursing Home, surrounded by her devoted family, on 31st December 2023. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Frank McShane and treasured mother of Francis, Anthony, Aine, and Eithne. Loving daughter of the late James and Sarah Smith RIP and much-loved sister of Tom, Jim, and Anne (Gallagher) and predeceased by May, Frank, Philomena, Margaret, Imelda, Clement, and baby Clement-Anthony and baby Francis-Eugene RIP.

Mona’s remains are reposing at the home of her son Francis, 2 Old Road, Camlough, from 7 pm today Sunday 31st December 2023 until 10 pm and from 10 am to 10 pm on Monday 1st January 2024. Funeral leaving the house on Tuesday 2nd January 2024, at 10.15 for 11 am Requiem Mass in the church of St. Malachy, Carrickcruppen. Interment immediately afterward in the adjoining cemetery.

Mona will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and entire family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
