McSWEENEY John (Seán) Francis – Carrickfergus, Co Antrim and previously of Newcestown, Co Cork, died peacefully at his home on June 11, 2023 surrounded by his dear friends Maura and Brighde Best.

Son of the late Dan and Nora McSweeney, brother of the late Mary, Michael and Donal. Seán will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, god-children and large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at his home, 18 Quayside, Carrickfergus. Visitors welcome on today Tuesday (13th) 2.00pm – 7.00pm. House Private on morning of funeral.

Seán will leave his home on Wednesday June 14th at 10.45am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am in St Nicholas Catholic Church, Carrickfergus BT38 7AW. Burial will follow at Victoria Cemetery. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
